I have been part of this site for almost 7 years found it by mistake and added a few realitives from a small town as a way to visit them as we lived about 4 hours away from where they were buried. Now I would like to help supply photos of local and family cemetaries to others. I know how special it is to sometimes see your loved one's marker as a very beautiful soul is going to be able to supply my sister and I with a picture of my dad's headstone in Arlington National Cemetary. My dad stepped away from us in February 2012 at the young age of 60 after a shocking and difficult battle with Lung Cancer and we laid him to rest in Arlington National Cemetary as a Nebraska resident I can not visit him as I would like so the comfort of this site helps heal. If you would like to visit him his name is Michael "Mick" L. Roder born 8/8/1951 passed 2/19/2012 intermed into Arlington 2/29/2012.
RE: Arlington Memorial Day Yes, I'll do the 'flags-in' for you on Memorial Day. I thought I sent you the wreath photos -- very sorry if I never did that! And I checked around his area when the cherry blossoms came out, but there was nothing blooming around his stone or area. I took photos last week for you, too -- I'm really sorry that I failed to get back in touch with you, thought I had!
RE: Michael L. Roder photo Sorry for the delay in responding. Have sent you an email with one of the photos I took this Christmas Day, of his stone with the wreath. Just let me know where to send the photos and I'll do it! Thanks, and happy new year!
