MANY thanks to our splendid hosts at Findagrave! (now owned by Ancestry.com/) Recently Findagrave began a wonderful way of linking families with the "Family Links" feature. Because most of my work was done PRIOR to this new option, you may find pages of spouses and children who are not yet linked. Let me know and I will link them. Again, use the EDIT button.
Did you know Findagrave is one of the top genealogy sites? Grave markers deteriorate or are swept away by hurricanes, floods or neglect. Please snap photos to preserve on Findagrave or on another family history website. NOTE: Years ago when I first uploaded hundreds of grave photos, Findagrave had a limit of under 300 kb per photo--unlike today. Many of my photos are therefore cropped and quite small. I regret not saving the originals, but storage space was limited and time consuming in the days before thumb drives, apps and virtual clouds.

I noticed you had left a memorial candle for this individual. Today I posted grave stone photos you might like to see. Sincerely, Kathy

Yes, they were quite an adventuresome branch of the family. Laura Moss Steptoe was the sister of my 2xGreat-grandmother Harriet 'Hattie' Moss Childs. The Steptoe photo was snipped from a larger photo of the Moss family that can be found at the memorial of Laura's father, John J. Moss: #11434824.
I do not need to manage memorials for distant relatives when they are in the capable hands of people who care about them. Thank you for all you do.

Thanks for the transfer!

This kitty is a character. We found him abandoned as a tiny kitten. He has his head on his stuffed tiger. He adopted it when he was a little kitten and has slept with it and played with it every since. I think he adopted it is his brother or something.

You are very welcome! Would you like the care of the memorial transferred to you? I am always hoping family/close friends will come forward so a memorial can "go home" where it belongs.

Thanks for the transfer! This is a fascinating family. Three of her siblings owned & published a trendy newspaper in Greenwich Village (Manhattan) which is still in operation today, The Villager. They wrote many anecdotes about growing up & I can add some to this memorial.

Just realized the picture doesn't match the memorial. I only live about 30 minutes from the Reichert Cemetery, I will check on this the next time I'm there.

Thanks for responding. I have e-mailed her in the past but did not receive a reply.
