MANY thanks to our splendid hosts at Findagrave! (now owned by Recently Findagrave began a wonderful way of linking families with the "Family Links" feature. Because most of my work was done PRIOR to this new option, you may find pages of spouses and children who are not yet linked. Let me know and I will link them. Again, use the EDIT button.

Did you know Findagrave is one of the top genealogy sites? Grave markers deteriorate or are swept away by hurricanes, floods or neglect. Please snap photos to preserve on Findagrave or on another family history website. NOTE: Years ago when I first uploaded hundreds of grave photos, Findagrave had a limit of under 300 kb per photo--unlike today. Many of my photos are therefore cropped and quite small. I regret not saving the originals, but storage space was limited and time consuming in the days before thumb drives, apps and virtual clouds.

RE: James E. Coffee #10752954
I think I ran across the other children linked to the parents, and then saw his memorial, and made the association. It was luck.

I just took all photos here while I was passing through and can you believe most of the stones are knocked over? It looks like your very good photos were taken just a few months ago. What a shame... there were tire tracks all over the place.

RE: McCauslands in Indian Territory
Thank you for your very kind offer. Yes I would love to manage their memorials. They are only my 4th cousins, but still very important to me.
Thank you.

Re: Olin McCormick
I noticed you had left a memorial candle for this individual. Today I posted grave stone photos you might like to see. Sincerely, Kathy

RE: Sinnett Cem., Pawnee County, Oklahoma
Yes, they were quite an adventuresome branch of the family. Laura Moss Steptoe was the sister of my 2xGreat-grandmother Harriet 'Hattie' Moss Childs. The Steptoe photo was snipped from a larger photo of the Moss family that can be found at the memorial of Laura's father, John J. Moss: #11434824.
I do not need to manage memorials for distant relatives when they are in the capable hands of people who care about them. Thank you for all you do.

Thanks for the transfer! This is a fascinating family. Three of her siblings owned & published a trendy newspaper in Greenwich Village (Manhattan) which is still in operation today, The Villager. They wrote many anecdotes about growing up & I can add some to this memorial.

RE: Nancy Landreth Gambill #10747365
Thanks for making the change. I cleaned Nancy's headstone last year and all the information is now readable. Yes, it is sad about the vandalism at the cemetery. Some workers from the Cherokee Nation mowed the cemetery last May before Memorial Day. Do you have any information about any other Gambill family members who might be buried there? I have been unable to locate where William James Gambill is buried. He could be buried in Missouri. Do you subscribe to I have my tree posted. If you see anything that needs to be corrected please let me know. Joe Ackley used to visit with my mother. I have some pictures of the twin sisters. You can also contact me at my e-mail address.

Thanks so much for contacting me. I really enjoy the research and look forward to hearing from you.
