Cemetery photos are extremely helpful for remembering loved ones and genealogy research.
I am hoping to help persons by posting cemetery photos. I believe it is extremely important to know cause of death for hereditary reasons.
I have also posted death certificates where available to aid in research and identify family hereditary disorders. I also try to add newspaper obits if I have one. All of this combined tells a shortened story of a person's life on earth.

My husband's (Phil) side goes back to the early days of New Haven, Connecticut, he is descended from Matthew Gilbert. We have researched the lines of BAKER, LEMON and McINALLY (married daughters of Isaac Gilbert of Woodhouse, Ontario. Phil's father's mother comes from the "PARENT" family who were early settlers in Detroit, MI and Tecumseh, Ontario. Both these lines are huge especially going all the way back to Matthew Gilbert. We have spent years traveling around to cemeteries to try and connect descendents, also with the help of others.

My side is much harder to trace back. My father's family came from MEZOKOVESD, HUNGARY. My mother's came from Austria-Hungary where place names have been changed. I have to resort to reading microfilm in Hungarian and Latin which is very time consuming.

I hope that we have been able to help you out in your research. Happy Hunting !!
