I am a researcher interested in the FULLILOVE surname. My main interest is in tracing descendants of John Fullilove I & Henrietta Tatum of Virginia, North Carolina, and Wilkes & Oglethorpe Counties, Georgia. They have descendants living all over the United States, but primarily in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, and Georgia. If you think that you are a Fullilove descendant, please contact me. Please let me know of any corrections or additions that need to be made in any of my postings. I do care about getting it right.|
I like to get photos of unusual headstones, especially the homemade variety. I think it is important to document these type of markers that will obviously disappear in time.
I seem to get an eerie enjoyment walking around in graveyards. I love to take volunteer photos of headstones when I am able .... just wish I could figure out how to get paid for doing it.

I have left two edits for Susannh H. Smith. One is her maiden name "Elliot" and the other is a link to William Robert Smith 21398200. Susannah was my great grandmother and I am in possession of the family Bible so I am very sure of these edits.

I sent you two requests for edits. One is a middle name which is Patton and the other is to add a link to the son, William Robert Smith 21398200. I am very sure of these edits as James Smith is my great great grandfather and I have the family Bible in my possession.

I am the husband of Hettie's great grand-daughter. I have a pending edit for Hettie. Can you review and approve? Thanks!

Thank you so much for the photos of the tombstones of the Biggs. Visited the Fullilove cemetery near Keachi, LA
Can you tell me where this cemetery is? It is supposed to be 3 miles from my house but I can't find it.

I have someone telling us:
I believe that the mason engraver got his middle initial wrong, should read Peter Patrick Butler. He was married to Piety Paxton Butler on 10 Dec 1829 in Madison Co. GA. They had 12 children and 5 of those children still resided with them in Shreveport, LA by 1870. By 1880 he not only had Rhoda and Susan with him and his wife but Cynthia's family came home and so did Jane's family so that made a total of 19 people on that farm including himself and his wife. Too bad their isn't an 1890 census we could see who was left there. Sad.
You have him married to Martha Cornelia Shackleford with daughters Emma Marshall and Ella Fullilove

|Pat Donovan||Samuel R IRVINE|
First, thank you so very much for all of the work you are doing that helps so many of us in our search for "lost" family members.
I think I may have a correction for Samuel R IRVINE. I believe that Samuel R IRVINE's parents are Samuel A IRVINE (born abt 1800 in VA and deceased 1872, Moscow, Hickman KY) and Arrixa STONE (born 1813 in NC--deceased after 1880 in KY). This belief is supported by the 1850 Census. In the 1860 Census Samuel R IRVINE is married to his first wife, Martha (Fleetwood). In that same 1860 Census: William M C IRVINE and his wife Amanda are residing in Conway AR with their son Samuel, born 1848 in KY. I can find William's son Samuel L in the 1870 Census, the 1880 Census, the 1900 Census, the 1910 census, and the 1920 Census, where his is residing in Scurry TX with his wife Nancie D. I have been researching the IRVINE family in Hickman County KY because I believe they may be related to my great, great grandmother Isabella IRVINE who married John Wright MURPHEY abt 1838 in Hickman KY. I know very little about her and have looked at a lot of records trying to find every little bit of information that I could. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts. Pat

Hi Jim, Got a connection error, I think. It looks like the gravestone picture on #28344807 belongs on #11445886.
I do not know if Samuel W. Pennebaker Birth: May 20, 1796 Kentucky, USA; Death: 1835, USA is actually buried in the Beauvoir Confederate Cemetery. I have seen elsewhere on the internet that he died in Wilson, Tennessee.
