Looking for any information about the William Thomas Ferrell family. Some of my family names are Farrell/Ferrell, McRae, Pate, Lovelady, Bass, Johnston, McAnally, Robershaw, Higginbotham, and Webb. My family is mainly from Texas and Alabama. If you think there might be a connection, let me know and I'll check my family tree!|

Their daughter married one of my g-g-g-grandfather's sons, so they are very distant. They moved from AL to TX.

Hi Jamie...I was wondering what the A stands for in Mr. Lovelady's name. On his son's page (William Thomas Lovelady), it states that William's father is Lewis Jefferson Lovelady, yet on here it says A. J.? Josephine Lovelady was my son-in-laws mother. I am trying to gather genealogy information for my grandchildren. Thanks for any help, Jane

Hi, Jamie - thanks for your message. I wanted to let you know I've been working on a reply since I got your message on Ancestry - some of my records have been in storage, so I'm getting back up to speed on this family. I will mention here briefly that we know from the 1900 census that Jordan's wife Mary had borne 4 children, 2 of whom were still living in 1900. Those two are the James M. PATE you mentioned and Nora PATE who married Robert BULLARD. I don't think we know the names of the other two, who probably were born and died between censuses. It was once thought that Ella, the 9-month old in Jordan & Mary's 1880 household, was one of the 4 children, but I believe it's now understood that she is Ella Mae PATE, the daughter of James M. PATE & Lucinda (NELSON) PATE. Ella Mae PATE married 1896 to Calvin Byron Washington PHILLIPS, had one child, and apparently died before 1900. Calvin married second to Willie PATE, daughter of John Wilburn & Mary Eliza (MORRIS) PATE. I will get a more detailed response to you as soon as I'm able. Can you tell me more about your ggg-gm Ella? Thanks! - John http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&GRid=112478800&MRid=46870015&

Hi Jamie. Are you sure that this Maude Richardson was married to a Farrell? She was married to and is buried with my great-grandfather John Albert Massey. As far as I know she was never married to anyone else.

Not a problem. Actually I was going through New York looking for my own errors and found lots. You have his full name and the photos so I'm deleting my memorial. You may wish to link his spouse Elmirie # 54757768.

Hi, Thank you so much for pointing out that I had duplicated your memorial! I'm very sorry. I deleted mine. No wonder I made the mistake with all the different names...Haha. Thanks again for pointing this out. I probably wouldn't have ever known it was the same person. Have a blessed day! Cheryl
