I was born in Atchison, Kansas, where Amelia Earhart was also born. I currently teach computer science courses at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, but worked 11 years as a professional programmer in Kansas City, Missouri, before that. My family and roots are all in the KCMO area, though, so I make it back there often.
I love to do a lot of things but genealogy and classical music are among my favorite pasttimes. I am currently researching all of my lines but am at a standstill with my Decker line. I am trying to find the parents of my second great grandfather Benjamin G. Decker, Sr. Other lines that I have are Allen, Lemley, Dege, Russell, Klopp, Katterman, Dundore, Walborn, and many others. Please feel free to message me if you have any suggestions or questions.
I enjoy the work of the conductors Herbert von Karajan, Carlos Kleiber, Karl Böhm, Eugen Jochum, and many others. I especially love Mozart, Brahms, Beethoven, Bruckner, Mahler, Wagner, and Richard Strauss, just to name a few.
I searched the Berks County Veteran burial cards and cannot seem to find Kathryne among them, so if you don't mind I will forward the obituary and your F-A-G memorial information to Dale Derr, Director of Berks County Veterans Affairs to add to their files.

John Klopp 1781 Hallo Geoffrey, - John Klopp, son of John Adam: in the informations from John Adam Klopp stands that his frist wife Elisabeth Hain died about 1783, but John jr was born in 1781 ??? So he must be the son of Elisabeth Hain not from Elisabeth Fidler. Please help, I don`t have any documents, all my informations came from other internet-trees. Aenne
RE: Thank you! I and others appreciate your nicely done work here at findagrave. Yours are true memorials to those whom you love and respect. They provide me some inspiration as I think of how to properly honor my own kindred dead. By the way, Lizzie and I share a direct Ohlinger ancestor.
Albert Clayton Klopp Cemetery Correction Hi - My understanding is that A. Clayton Klopp is not buried at Wyomissing Cemetery, but rather that he is entombed at the Mausoleum off of Penn Ave where his wife is. In findagrave it is called Memorial Mausoleum, but it is alternatively called Wyomissing Hills Mausoleum in his Reading Eagle death notice and Memorial Mausoleum, Wyomissing Hills in her obituary.
Would appreciate if you would link his findagrave memorial to his correct resting place. Thanks.
