Thank you for pointing out the issue with dates on these memorials. The data I used are exactly as published in Wesley Pippenger's volume, cited. I will annotate the memorials, since there is a mistake, perhaps in the reading of the worn stones. Most of the original records were destroyed by fire in the 1860s.

I sure can explain why the picture and the memorial do not match. The picture is of another person's grave. I have contacted the person who posted the photo on the page and asked them to attach it to the correct memorial. Mother and daughter have similar names.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Your memorial gives both dates of death and birth that contradict headstone inscription. Any particular reason?
I changed dates to reflect the gravestone, thanks. The 1850 census listed birth as 1830, England. Will use stone as better date. Thanks

Thank you for your response. I have transferred this memorial to you.
I am sorry you do not agree with the information on this tombstone but I have found census data to be incorrect more often.

I included this in the caption below his photograph. This book is available online and there is more information about him in the book.

As far as Boiling Springs, I can tell you that the two books I worked from were done by transcribbing the grave stones. They are not actual full burial listings for the cemetery. So it is possible she is there, or maybe not. I would have to contact the caretaker of the cemetery and see if he lists her or not. Not sure when I will get there, but will try to rememeber.
