I'm a "Taphophile" from way back. I like nothing better than wandering around old cemeteries on an afternoon. I've recently begun trying to find all of the cemeteries in the North Metro Atlanta area(Check out http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=114736229848276250549.0004605d64f84317598c5&ll=33.952474,-84.424438&spn=1.12091,1.766052&z=9). I recently found an old African-American cemetery that has been almost completely swallowed by a forest. It's been really rewarding to find cemeteries that have obviously been completely forgotten by society. I would be glad to try to find graves for anyone in the North Metro Atlanta area.|

|Craig Scott Burnes||James W Burnes|
You have a James W Burnes as one of your memorials. Do you have any other data on this person? I'm looking for a James Washington Burnes that would be in Rome.

Your contributor page is very wide, I think cos of the link you've included. Maybe take a look at it and see what you think.

Thanks for the transfer. I have connected him to his wife Essie V. Buffington. I attend church with their grandson Mike. Now if someone in the family starts searching their roots they will be connected and I can transfer them all over to their care.
I read your bio and offer to help locate graves. I have an Uncle Hurmon O. Smith Find A Grave #84838297, who married my Aunt Mary Lou Richardson Find A Grave #64534321. She died at age 23. Her sister pasted on this information before her death, that after Mary Lou's death Hurmon remarried and moved else where and is not buried with my aunt. This is reason he has no death date on their shared headstone. The headstone is at Camp Creek Cemetery, Lilburn, Georgia. I periodically do a search of his name, hoping someone may have found his grave and did a memorial. I have no information on who he married. Could you please add his name to your search list since you are also a Smith? Or possibly he is a distant relative of yours. I would welcome any help.
Happy Searching, Patricia

My name is Andrew Thomason and I'm the son of Lewis Allen Thomason Jr.
I see that you're the caretaker for his memorial page with #33014157. I didn't even know one had been created for him.
I'd appreciate it if you could transfer this memorial to me and I'll create pages back on up the line.
Thanks in advance,

I added a photo for this memorial and it looks like the DOB is a typo. Please see the photo and correct the DOB to April 29, 1890.
