I have been a student of the histories of my family and my wife's for 20 years. We live in the mountains of north-west North Carolina, but that's about the only area were we don't have ancestral roots. Members of our families have lived in most of the rest of the United States after immigrating from the German states, Great Britain, Finland, and perhaps elsewhere (see our website, link above).

I have posted memorials from some nearby cemeteries in a small effort to repay the assistance I have obtained from the similar work of others, in addition to some posts for family members in places we have visited.
