GENEALOGY: Where you confuse the dead and irritate the living!|
It is heartbreaking when a child is born and all too soon is taken away in the arms of Jesus. Such is the case of Baby Shaw, a particularly sad death that will tug at your heartstrings. Please stop by and leave the little fella a token of remembrance and love. God Bless You.

|JMW||railroaders and Halls|
Thanks for keeping track of some railroaders in Texas, I am a retired MoPac conductor in Missouri and have tried to collect as many of the old timers as I can, I published a book (Trackin' The Past) back when I retired, only made 220 of them and they are gone now, mainly had pictures of as many of the men as I could collect over 2 years. I added your rr men to my collection, thanks. Also are you related to the Halls in Broken Bow Cem McCurtain Ok.? I am related to Isaac W Hall Find A Grave 23745530 1st cousin 2x removed the Hall family here were from Tennessee. Have a great Day, Mike In Missouri.

There is an old photo album on e-bay http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-PHOTO-ALBUM-FORT-WORTH-TEXAS-FAMILY-SOLDIER-VIEWS-1918-1919-/351271226338?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51c9658be2 that belonged to Cordovia Rowlett Poullos (1902-1986) with labeled photographs of some of the Rowlett family and friends. I saw a photo of Earl Rucker when he was about 2 years old in the album. I do genealogy as well and I am saddened when I see these treasures up for auction but if you or anyone you know is related, you might direct them to the site. I believe that Cordovia was the daughter of Fred O Rowlett (1876-1934) and Sarah Ann Baker (1881-1906). Fred then married a woman Lona ___ Shoulders (b abt 1878 in GA). Siblings to Cordovia were Ella Oliga Rowlett (Hussey) 1904-1975; Myrtle b abt 1900; Jewell (md. Marcus Neil Rucker); Herman .. all born in Texas between 1898 to 1910.
