I have a strong interest in genealogy, both my own and others, and history in general.|
Also, I have come to believe that the documentation created here is an historical record, ultimately of value to future researchers.
Therefore, it is extremely important to be accurate and to include as much verified information as possible, including the correct dates and places of birth of those whom we post to cemeteries.
Linking family members - besides indicating familial relationships - shows the patterns of migration and where families settled in different areas.
It is important to post individuals to the correct cemetery, rather than just creating lists of dead people in order to generate enormous numbers credited to our names.

I tried to photograph the requests in Delhi St Cemetery but was unable to access the cemetery. However I DID manage to photograph the graves of Winifred, Phoebe and Florrie (grand-daughters?)in Marfleet Lane. All UK Jewish cemeteries are kept locked and I was able to access here thanks to two ladies already there. I will try to get a key to both graveyards and try again
Thank-You so much for the Memorial photo! I have transferred it over to you. Allan

No problem, Cynthia...sometimes records can't be found at all for people and I find its helpful to list cause of death. Especially for folks who died of consumption. There was a period during the civil war and shortly before and after when that was rampant. Consumption had a lot to do with Tuberculosis. It helps to paint a picture. Whole families could have perished because of it. During the Civil War lots of our soldiers died because of dysentery.

I could not find your photo request.

I am about to fulfill your request for a photo of the marker for Lena Wight. On the same marker is her husband Nahum. If you will create another photo request for him, I will gladly claim it and upload the photo. Let me know.
