Bio Photo I didn't get involved with genealogy until my late 40's. It is a little addictive, but you already know that. Thanks to those that help to fill in the gaps of genealogy research. You simplify all efforts.

Yes, you can use the photo. I will go back to the cemetery and look at that broken stone and see if I can see anything on it. Did Isabella marry a second time? Next to Margaret's stone is a stone for a Isabella consort of Joseph Taggart who departed this life Feb. 20, 1839 in the 43rd year of her age. There is a memorial for Isabella Taggart in this cemetery and I put the photo on yesterday. I didn't know until I got your message and I went back to look through my photos that this may be the same person. I have been looking for Isabella Drennen's stone but couldn't find it. There are Nichols & Parks in this same area. Go to Isabella Taggart's memorial and look at it. Let me know if you think it is Isabella Drennen. Carla

I fulfilled this with my smart phone app. I'm going to take my camera and retake the photo. I like the quality of my camera better.
I'm planning on taking it this week. I have photographed several cemeteries in my area.

Sorry, I had Minnie confused with Mattie, who I "did" on the same day. Yes, that is definitely where Minnie is buried. Hundreds of the older monuments are gone from the older sections due to past vandals, etc., and many people simply couldn't afford to use resources to buy markers. The place is now watched like Fort Knox, but there are still people who can't afford markers.

According to their records, that's where she is buried.

There was a problem, last year, with incorrect range locations in their database, but they say they have corrected all problems.

I'm in that Section repeatedly and I will get a photo, if I find her in a different range. We who do a lot of searches in Cave Hill haven't found any mistakes since last year, though.

Minnie Myers - Cave Hill
I'm sorry to report that Ms Myers has no surviving marker. Of the several Myers who are buried in that Lot, only Robert L Myers now has a monument. I will add a photo of the site for Minnie (she's in the bare area to the right) and a photo of Robert's marker on his memorial page.

RE: Steil
According to the cemetery records, John Steil is the only Steil buried here. Sorry!
