Bio Photo I didn't get involved with genealogy until my late 40's. It is a little addictive, but you already know that. Thanks to those that help to fill in the gaps of genealogy research. You simplify all efforts.

RE: Theobolt Stimpert
Actually, I didn't take the photo. Someone in Illinois took it and sent it to me to be put on Find A Grave. I was able to give her credit under the photo if you click on the photo.

RE: Schneider headstone photos
Thanks for asking. I don't mind if people use my headstone photos. If you need a better photo I could take one in the summer if possible--Too much snow now.

Wenona Cemetery
Hi Stephen,
I read your message inquiring as to whether someone has a transcription for Wenona Cemetery. I photographed graves there in 2006 and we also stopped in the library there that year. I live in Ohio but we pass through IL on my way to our northern WI cabin each summer. You might inquire at the library. I don't remember if they had books with transcriptions for local cemeteries or not. Also, they might know if there is a local genealogy society. I would be happy to stop in Wenona for you next summer and check it out if you remind me!

Sorry, I am not related, just take pictures to post on Find A Grave in hopes they will be useful to someone.

RE: Helen Thelen
I just copied what was written on the back of the photos. Could very well be incorrect.

Glad you received them. Did you receive several e-mails with photos?

RE: Fred & Marie Theilen
Thank you for your inquiry, Stephen.

I am related to Fred Anton Theilen. He was my great uncle. His brother, John Christian "Chris" Theilen was my great grandfather. John Christian Theilen's son (Theodore Christian Theilen) was my grandfather.

I am sorry I do not know who Fred's parents were. Fred and John also had a sister (M. Stuhrenberg) who remained in Germany. During WW II John's family regularly sent money and clothing.

I have no info on Fred's wife, Marie, but my mother has two large beautiful colored chalk "paintings" done by Marie that were given to my mother by Fred and Marie's daughter, Inez.

Hope this helps, and, "yes" you are welcome to use the photos. If you become aware of the names of Fred's parents, I would be very interested to know, so I could search my ancestry further, as well.

RE: Annetta Hogan
Assuming you meant Find A Grave Memorial# 63760133, this has already been done.
