Bio Photo As a member of Findagrave I am glad to help with edits, transfers, etc. If you would like to have a memorial transferred to you please send me the proper request by going to the top right hand corner of the memorial you would like to own and send the request that way. I won't transfer otherwise as it is time consuming. I don't ask questions otherwise unless it is a memorial I want to keep, then I may consider.

Hi Crystal,
I'm sorry to say, but I have no other info to add to the Friedly Family. The only one I can relate to is Miss Friedly that was a school teacher, which I had in Jr. High School.

Hi there!

I was doing some research on a friend's family who wanted to know what her great-grandfather's middle initial was. I saw that you had written the P out as Philip and was wondering how you came across this information since I am coming up dry.

Thanks for any help you can give!

The McFerren Continuing Saga
Crystal: Hi again!
I was following your e-mail when I ran across 2 Jacob R. Heefners:

Heefner, Jacob R. 54541492 <--- (This one has a photo)
b. Aug. 9, 1885 d. Oct. 28, 1942 Mont Alto Cemetery
Mont Alto
Franklin County
Pennsylvania, USA

Heefner, Jacob R. 142541180 <--This is the last one you put in. It is linked to Anna.
b. Aug. 9, 1885 d. Oct. 28, 1942

Perhaps you might want to merge the 2 Jacobs.

I was entrigued by the name, Heefner, because that was on 2 of Peter McFerren's son's death certificates as the maiden name of their mother, Nancy Keiffer "Hefner" (sp) McFerren. As you know, there are 100+ McFerren families looking for Peter & Nancy's parents - still.....!

Daughter, Dorothy has found the name on the 2 death certs, but is is handwritten and may be mis-spelled.

Nancy was born in 1815, which could be that Jacob is her father?????????

What do you think?

RE: Mariah Tarman
Oh, I am sooooo glad to hear from you. I am just a Story County genealogist and am not related to these people.

But I am presently doing biographies of mayors of Nevada and am trying to do a biography of Francis Clayton Tarman. I have done research on him and have written it but would love any details or dates.

Do you have any biographical info on F. C. Tarman? If you would give me your email, I could email it to you and maybe you could fill in any details? I am particularly fuzzy about the 1910-1915 time period right after his marriage. Did he work in the meat market with his father. And do you have a photo? I would be thrilled!

Thank you,
