Bio and Links
Bio Photo I think this "Find-a-Grave" website is wonderful, and I hope more people will add data to it. Hopefully my input will help someone out there.

I so enjoy finding & visiting the old pioneer cemeteries, where the dates go back to the 1700-1800's.

I'll be more than happy to make corrections and/or add data, make relationship links, etc, but I am curtailing (not stopping) transferring memorials due to a growing misunderstanding of what Find-a-grave is all about.

Please do not leave me a message of "any kind" without leaving a way for me to get back to you. It makes no sense to do so - it is useless!

God Bless!

You are not going to believe this!! I looked on google earth and found Jesterville Rd, look around and realized that's where the Jones Methodist Church cemetery is. Last weekend I went there to get pics of some stones there and on the way back down Jesterville Rd I saw a cemetery in a field next to a house. I stopped, knocked on the door and got no answer. I went on over to the cemetery and started taking some pictures. I had only been there a few minutes when a gentleman walked out from the garage behind the house. I introduced myself, apologized for intruding and told him I'd knocked and got no answer. He was the nicest man. He told me I was welcome to take pictures. We talked for awhile then he left me to my work. I just looked at those pictures....THEY ARE THE MISSING JONES'!! There really are two separate Jones family cemeteries!! Mystery solved!

RE: Jones Family Cemetery
I'm kind of leaning the other way!! haha
It sounds like they found what I did...4 and no more. However, the location of the other family members remains to be seen. Hopefully with the location of the other cemetery that was given, I can locate the rest.

I live about an hour away, but I went down there this weekend and spent both days looking for these small family cemeteries. They seem to be every where! I will go next weekend to check on Jesterville road and see if there is, indeed, another Jones family cemetery. This one was about 12' square and the way these graves were spaced, there is no way 31 more could fit in there, unless they stacked them one on top of the other!! :) Let me see what I can find and I will get back to you.

Bethlehem Cemetery / Crone grave-yard
Yes, I thought that was interesting, too. Back in 1903, it must have previously been referred to by a different name. Thanks for your help!

Hewett cemetery
Ruth, I have visited the Hewett Cemetery. Pretty amazing to see this nice area for my ancestors. I thank you for posting the information on this website that got me going to this place to get the photos of their gravestones.
Thank you so very much.
