Bio and Links
Bio Photo Virginia and I recently (2013) celebrated our 53rd wedding anniversary. My family roots include Hobson (of course), Garrison, Vandruff, Goff, and so many others too numerous to mention. The family tree has been my form of recreation for over thirty years, and I continue to seek and find connected families. I collect obituaries, headstone photos, old family photos, published biographies, engagement and wedding announcements for those in my family tree, and am always looking for more. I'm very grateful to those who post information without hoping for financial gain. I usually post memorials here when there is an obituary to use as a biographical paragraph. My own collected research is available for the asking.

John Noble Weeks
Jerry,
I found your post on John, who is my second GG. I have ancestors on the Flickinger side who fought in the Revolutionary War and I'm a member of SAR. When my cousins and I began researching the other side of our family (Weeks), maternal grandfather, we were happy to find John's heroic record. Thanks for the picture of his grave and that of his second wife Rhoda. Charles A., with his first wife Emeline Kinney, is my great grandfather, and his daughter Lora is my grandmother. It's always such a great source of information in find-a-grave when doing family research and the dedication of the members is invaluable. I live in Miamisburg, Ohio, south of Dayton and if you need something in this neck of the woods please let me know. Thanks again.

RE: Capuano, All Souls Cemetery
You're very welcome. It's sad that a lot of the grave stones at All Souls are half sunken into the ground. A lot of families go out there and use a weed wacker to keep the stones readable. It makes them hard to photograph.
P.S. All Souls burials can now be researched at clecem.org The records went online at the end of June.

RE: Jennie Clementi, Willoughby Memorial
I am not sure if you have ever been to this cemetery, but it's not far from the shoreline of Lake Erie. The groundskeeper was a very nice man. This is a very peaceful place, of course....Ms. Jennie is interred in an area just inside the front gates on the left side as you enter.

RE: Claughton Chapel Cemetery
I am always happy to help. If you want you can send me a list of photos you need from Claughton Chapel Cemetery and I would gladly get them all at onces for you. Just tell me the names and dates and if you have the memorial already up I can just upload the photos for you. If might help to get more done quicker. If you want to do that just send me a list and I will see about doing them this weekend. Also I wanted to point out that I found a Paul Hunnell at Claughton Chapel Cemetery yesterday and added him to the Cemetery list. I don't know if he is yours or not but thought I would let you know. I hope you have a great day.
Your friend in West Virginia

Wright, Goff, Garrison Connection
Dear Gerald,
I have been trying to locate graves for John and Rachel Wright when I found your reference note on the memorial for Sarah J. Wright Goff and wanted to know if you have researched further on her parents.

Note: Sarah J. Wright Goff was the daughter of John Wright and Rachel (Unknown).

My family records show Rachel Garrison was her mother. I have found some additional records for Rachel's parents - Stephen Garrison and Elizabeth Ayers Garrison (graves located in Salem Cty, NJ - Olivet Cemetery) and further back to Jacob Garrison and Christina Cresson.

I'm looking forward to review your site and hope to hear from you soon.
