Virginia and I recently (2013) celebrated our 53rd wedding anniversary. My family roots include Hobson (of course), Garrison, Vandruff, Goff, and so many others too numerous to mention. The family tree has been my form of recreation for over thirty years, and I continue to seek and find connected families. I collect obituaries, headstone photos, old family photos, published biographies, engagement and wedding announcements for those in my family tree, and am always looking for more. I'm very grateful to those who post information without hoping for financial gain. I usually post memorials here when there is an obituary to use as a biographical paragraph. My own collected research is available for the asking.|
As of August of 2014 I've been notified about my transgression of including surviving relatives in my bio paragraphs. Since these all come from published obituaries, it had not occurred to me to obtain the permission of those still living whose names are included in the obituaries. (They already gave their permission to the newspaper, did they not?) However, to appease the guardians of truth, justice and the American way, I will be removing all mention of survivors in any obituary I have posted from 1922 and later. Before then, the printed obituaries are considered to be in the public domain.
Because I have posted so very many obituaries to findagrave it will take me some time to remove the survivor information, so please be patient. And my sincerest apologies to all those who have been harmed or offended by my actions.

|Olin E. Hartley||Corp Merle Lemley Areford|
Correction made. By the way, I took the photos when we were in the Cedar Grove Cemetery back in 2009, mainly due to the Lemley surname. He is no relation to me. Would you like for me to transfer his memorial to you? Will gladly do it - just let me know.

Jerry I found another Chauncey Lippencott in Lafayette. Wasn't sure if he might be a branch in your tree or not but I thought I would let you know.....Randy
I'm glad to know I've helped you locate family members, as I also do my own genealogy. Your appreciation is appreciated.

Greetings Jerry -
Calvary Cemetery isn't very cooperative in looking up grave locations to Find-A-Grave photography volunteers - they'll only do 3 at a time and recently cut me off from asking for any more locations. I was trying to add locations for the very large backlog of photo reqs for the cemetery; there's over 400 requests. Those that include the grave plot get photographed first, so I'd recommend that you add that info to the Find-A-Grave memorial page. Call 216-641-7575 for the cemetery office; they'll provide you 3 locations without charging you for them.
|Mary Denzinger||Emily Applegate gravestone|
I was at Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon Pa. yesterday and found a single gravestone next to Fred and Elizabeth's double stone. However, it is for Emma Applegate (1878-1939). I'm guessing this is your Emily Applegate. To the left of her stone was Harold Applegate (1905-1935). If you want me to post the Emma stone let me know.

I have been trying to locate graves for John and Rachel Wright when I found your reference note on the memorial for Sarah J. Wright Goff and wanted to know if you have researched further on her parents.
Note: Sarah J. Wright Goff was the daughter of John Wright and Rachel (Unknown).
My family records show Rachel Garrison was her mother. I have found some additional records for Rachel's parents - Stephen Garrison and Elizabeth Ayers Garrison (graves located in Salem Cty, NJ - Olivet Cemetery) and further back to Jacob Garrison and Christina Cresson.
I'm looking forward to review your site and hope to hear from you soon.
