Dear Mrs. Lorraine Esther Hamann Chandler,

Thank you for all you have done, are doing, and shall do. It is well.

Are you kin to the Bowles in Virginia?

Thank you so much for trying to find this stone. I had my doubts that it could be found, but apparently the child, and mother Mary, are listed as being in this cemetery. I sure wish I could solve the mystery of where the records for this information came from. It might forever remain a mystery in our family.

RE: Lula, May, or Loda
I live in California. I was an Army brat so we moved around a lot. I was born in Texas. Actually if you want to know more about my family you could go to and see what has been put on there. I graduated from Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley in 1960. I went to college at Sierra College, Brigham Young University and San Francisco State. I have four children and nine grandchildren. After teaching for a few years and then working for the county library I retired and spent two years in Peace Corps South Africa. My maiden name was Lambert.

Arthur Neill Bowles
Here's a link to young Neill's death certificate at FamilySearch:

Note that his date of death was 11/11/1938 (not 11/10/1939).

It also confirms his place of burial at Inglewood Park, like his father. Looks like they might be in one of the Mausoleums.
