I checked the cemetery records and it does list his year of birth as 1877. I cannot find any other records to confirm nor contradict this year. If you have access to a census or family birth records that show otherwise (such as the 1900 census showing that he was still a child), I'd be happy to change it, but I am leery to do so when this is the date in the cemetery's documentation.

I noticed when I first viewed Charles Wm Dehaven Jr's info, that he was listed as Sr., but had the correct dates. Everything else was correct.
The DeHaven memorials have been updated. You are welcome.
linked Breck to his father, posted the grave stone photos for Breck and his wife Winifred Talbot St. John Porter. Winifred was the daughter of Eben and Mary Jane Maxson Talbot ( linked her to her parents) she was first married to David B. St. John, he died 1891 ( linked her to her first husband).

added the info to Breck Porter, thank you.
About St. John, there a quite a few St. John's buried in Edmeston, especially in the old cemetery.
If she was born a St. John or if she was married first to a St. John, I do not know yet.( there is a Winnie St. John aged 15 married to a David B. St. John on a 1880 Census in Edmeston )
Posted all memorials in Union Cemetery with the photos of the grave stones. (About 90 % of the memorials I did on Find A Grave, I did with photos I took)
At the moment I am working on Springfield Center Cemetery, also Otsego County, NY, posting all the photos and doing the research. After that I still have Fly Creek, Union and Oak Hill.
Thank you Ingrid.

well that was pretty easy to figure out !! her parents are buried at Coldspring Cemetery.. so she has a plot there... that is why she is listed in the records. I will delete her page. Thanks again for the heads up !!
|Gordon Hunter||RE: Rock Stones|
I finished the memorials and photos that were in my stash for the Rocks, and what information was available. Let me know if you want any or all transferred.
