I wanted to link those two, but that age gap gave me a fright. Not making a moral judgment there, just noting that, back then, the wife was far more likely to be markedly younger. Thank you!

George DeHaven
Hi! Thanks for the heads up on the confusion here. George's obituary states he's at Chestnut Grove. I see that there's a photo for the Pine Grove location. I'll let Monte know that the obituary has the wrong cemetery. Probably better if I just send him the jpeg, I'm thinking.

M. Martin Supplee
Find A Grave Memorial# 37956116

Since his death certificate, obituary and cemetery monument state his name to be M. Martin Supplee, I decline to add his first name as Milby.

To his family it was important enough for them not to include the first name Milby on any of the above information.

I respect the obvious wishes of the deceased and his family by leaving his name as M. Martin Supplee on his memorial page.

However, I have included a note in the bio section that his birth name was Milby Martin Supplee.

I changed it. Someone gave me the parents as a correction soI added them. Unfortunately, not everyone gives correct information. Thaks for the correction. Donna

Thanks Joe for the info on Sarah. One more piece of the puzzle is now in place. I just dug out the scrapbook again and hope that more of those in it will come to life, who they are.

Would it be possible for you to transfer her Death Certificate to the other one. Then I will delete it. I have more info on the new one. Thank you for all your time and efforts...

Hello Joe, Yes I agree with you.

I often see headstone information that doesn't agree with information on obits or death certificates. Then it leads you to wonder which is the correct information. When they disagree I just leave it as is, knowing that possibly one or all are wrong, hoping that a relative or a researcher will one day get it right.

In this one I believe he probably lived 61 years.

Take care,

Rich Fedoush

Hi there,

so happy to see the Geiger memorials you have added - are you related? Martha Jane Rettew Geiger was my GGGrandmother ;-)
If you do not already have them, I was going to add a request for photos of the Markers. Just wanted to check first.

Sorry I hit a wrong key

I found a list on usgen

No DeHaven in her name - so I am going to change it and maybe whoever decided that was correct will contact me again.

There is a Martha D Lincoln who was married to Henry Lincoln - maybe got mixed up?
