Hello:) I'm originally from Washington, Indiana but moved to Winslow (Pike County) when Joe and & I were married. My daughter is a graduate of OCU and my son is a graduate of Purdue. I work as an LPN in a nursing home and really enjoy it. I have 4 sweet, mischievous grand-kids with another arriving soon.|
I started with genealogy in the early 1980's not long after getting married. It certainly was a horse of a different color before computers.
I'm available to find stones for you in Pike and Daviess Counties in southern Indiana. I'm usually quite busy but will do my best to get your request as soon as I can. I also do some genealogy look-ups for others so it might take a little bit before I can get to them. Thanks for being so patient :)
I enjoy adding memorials to the findagrave website. I don't do it to collect numbers, but instead to help in other's research of their families.
If the memorial is not my own relative or close friend, I consider all requests for memorial transfers. I'm happy to transfer memorials. Likewise, I appreciate similar considerations.
Sometimes I have found pictures that I have taken-- reposted on other websites. Please be considerate and acknowledge the source. Thanks so much :)

Can you tell me how you arrived to the conclusion that Elizabeth Hunsaker born in 1844 was the the wife to Solomon Stilwell??
I have conflicting info that it was Elizabeth Hunsaker born in 1822.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your thoughtful and surprise transfer of John Ellis to me! You made my day! Blessings to you! Nan

Jennie, I'm trying to get more information re: James Calhoun d. 1877, bur Oak Grove Cem, Plot I. Also in that plot is "Grandmother" Calhoun who died in 1883.
I am also interested in Eliza Evans Burton who is buried in the Morrison Cem in Pike County. I am interested in proof of her death date. She is no where to be found after the 1870 census.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the transfer of the Hawkins girls! Appreciate the work you have done in these cemeteries.
If you find I have any of your family listed in and around Washington just let me know.
My grandmother's family settled in the area about 1809. It has been an interesting trip following the families and their connections through the generations!

John F and Susan G Lett are my material grandparents. Would you mind if they and their daughter Emma were transferred to me? Thanks for all you have done with all the additions you have contributed to and maintained over the years.

Thank you so much for the transfers on Fred & Grace Wimmenauer. Fred was my grandmother Braun's first cousin, so I am pleased to accept him and his wife in my care. Thanks for all your dedicated findagrave.com work!
