My name is LaSonya but everyone calls me Sonya. I am a 39yr old female living in Montgomery,Al. |
I enjoy old things (homes,stores,buildings),reading about & visiting historical places,cemeteries and the paranormal. I believe everything and everyone has a story to tell and wants to be heard and I want to hear it. I ran across this site by accident one day and have been hooked ever since.
I have added a few family members of my own and a few people that I don't know but I felt like everyone does deserve to be remembered. I want to say thank you to all the people who have left flowers/notes for them you have no idea what this means to me.
I leave flowers on many memorials out of "respect,rememberance, & love" so if I have ever left one on your fam/friends that you want removed plz let me know.If you have time please go through my virtual "In need of flowers" and leave them something I feel like no one should be on here without at least one flower.Thank you and may all of you be blessed.
It is so easy to leave something negative on a memorial because you didn't/don't agree with the way a person lived their life but instead of focusing on the negative try to say something positive. "God never said we have the right to judge and punish one another about our personal lives," He said to leave the judging up to him. We are only required to love one another. If we don't love one another like God loves us, we will never see heaven." So please out of respect rather than say something negative if nothing else just leave a flower and keep moving.

|Rochel (Eaton) Maxwell||Thank you|
Thank you for leaving the message on my Mom's page. I cry every time I think about her. It has taken me this long to be able to write anything. I know that sounds bad but we were very close and I still feel lost to a point. Again thank you.
|Robert Wallace||Thank you Sonya!|
Sonya, thanks for leaving flowers on my Dad's memorial(James L. Blair)! he died during Hurricane Katrina. Your message could make a grown man cry. I Couldn't agree with you more! There is so much hate going in this world that, I know, surely the end of this world can't be far away. Its not that hard to show Love and Kindness to everyone,but that seems too often to be the way of this world. Thank God for people like you, that share their love and put a smile on others faces! God bless and much love to you and your family!

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.
|Shekatt||Note left for my dearest Robert|
I just wanted to thank you for leaving a note for my boyfriend Robert Massong. I was unaware that someone had put up a tribute to him on this website until today. Further I am trying to figure out how to thank the person who posted the tribute using my story from MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving.) site. Robert is in my heart everyday, I miss him more than words can say. While my life has gone on, and I am blessed with a rich life full of family and friends... losing Robert changed my life. I miss each and everything about him. I have him to thank for my life, he was truly a gift and a blessing from above. Thank you for your kind note and for taking the time to do so. It is kind people like you that take time out of a busy day just to do a such a thoughtful thing. Thank you. God bless you and your family. You are in my thoughts.

|Chris Finch||ITS MY PARTY|
Thanks for adding and compiling these memorials. It's important to know that these deaths are still happening, and that must change. Additionally, my rainbow cemetery now has much more rainbow in it, thanks to you! May God bless you, and keep you, and grant you peace all the days of your life.

My husband is buried at Rosehill Cemetery in Ft. Worth,Texas. It was a long time before I realized there was a baby buried next to my husband because there is no headstone. Only a temporary one that I have to call and have replaced. I try to keep flowers there but they are mowed down. It breaks my heart that there is no stone there. I had a Cross made, but I was informed I could only place it there on certain holiday's.
