Ran into this while working on my new Hardy family tree, "The Hardy Ones". I always try to stop and provide extra info I have when possible.

I would include it. If nothing else, I would love a copy of the death certificate. His sister was my husbands grandmother. I do have a picture of Charles, but he is a child. If you prefer not to post it and wish to send me a copy, you can send it to me at DML14@cornell.edu. I always get excited with I have pieces of our past history to put together. thank you in advance.

You're welcome! Is this a memorial you'd like to have in your care? I'd be happy to transfer. Have a good day!

You're very welcome and happy hunting!
There is a photograph of James McCauley in the Hay-Ott collection at the Bradford County Historical Society in Towanda, PA. I think you'll find these photos are amazingly pristine.

You are correct to have William Melton as her husband. They had 2 children. One died at birth,1872 buried Meador, and Jacob Melton who I am trying to chase down now. He was born June of 1876 in Marion Co., Il.
I am searching for the correct wife right now. Researchers have 3 listed, Mary was my greatgreataunt.

I am wanting to make a visit to the Harkleroad Cemetery in Madison County. I seen you photographed it. Do you have address or lat and long to the cemetery?

I want to thank you so very much.
It means the world to my sisters & I that someone has taken the time to do this.
