Bio

Hi, my name is Judy (Cook) Penley. I live in the beautiful state of Missouri. I am the wife to the love of my life, my husband Ric, we've been together 37 years, and 34 of those years married (12/1990). I am the mother of four grown children &; the Maw-Maw of thirteen grandchildren; and 2 great-granddaughters, all of them ranging in age from 267 years old down to almost 2 years old. Boy, am I ever a pushover when it comes to those grandbabies!

I'm a genealogy nut, I caught the bug about 24 years back and I'm hooked. What I thought would be a part-time interest has grown into a full-time love. Through my genealogy research, I've reconnected with family, and connected with distant family I never knew I had. My one hope is that my children, their children, and so on, will maintain and continue to document family as they come and go.

Now, down to business...

If you want to have a memorial transferred, I generally do not do so, but I will be happy to add additional information, do corrections, or add links, just send me the information through Find A Grave suggestions or corrections and I will be happy to add it to the memorial crediting you as the informant. Make sure to send all the pertinent information (ie: The decedent's full name, cemetery name, the memorial number for that person, and whatever else you might think helpful to me).

I am also currently trying to load all my pics of the graves I have been able to visit. As you will see, when I first started I only took close-up pictures of the headstones, however, I later began taking full pictures of the headstones as well as close-ups, sorry for the error in judgment.

Now for some distressing news (for me especially)... I, unfortunately, lost my entire family tree file on my computer and just haven't had the heart to start reloading all that information. Hopefully, I will be able to begin that project sometime in the future.

p.s. I am also sorry to say I am no longer able to get out and take photos of the cemeteries.
