RE: William McKinney The William McKinney I'm researching (quite poorly) is my 3rd Great Grandfather. He died in August, 1887 at age 33. He appears in the 1880 Census in Seymour, Indiana, with his wife Mary Ann(Wood Green) McKinney. Stated he was born in Kentucky and was employed as a Rail Road Brakeman.
Cooper Hello. Today I walked the Eagle Mills Cemetery looking to fill photo requests. It is a well maintained cemetery and easy to walk. I did not find the stones you requested. There were some old, worn stones that were unreadable. There were a couple stones that had fallen face down. I try to be careful but could have missed a name. I wanted to let you know your requests are active and not overlooked.
I'm going on a trip from Oak Harbor, Washington to Tulsa but looks like I'll be going to Phoenix first to pick up my brother. I had thought about going through Reno- (hotels are off the charts) but wondered if a stop there to see Dolores might be arranged. I would sure like to do that if we can- I'm leaving here on 11 April and would take about 2 day to get there since I'll be driving alone. Thanks, bob
Do you happen to have the address of the rest home so I can send her an xmas card? Tryed calling a few rest homes in Sacramento and since there's well over 20, my wife asked me how many more I had to call and that idea was put to a stop- so, if you can help me that would be great, bob
Thank you for letting me know. I had planned to only include her parents and I found them on findagrave yesterday and I included them on ancestry.com. I have over 17,000 names so I didn't want to go into more since you already have them and they would be like the inlaws of my 3rd cousin. Hope you enjoy the holidays, bob
I have been doing more and more of my genealogy lately since I'm out of work and just found Delore's parents Francis Dewit & Sopia Mckinney here. Thanks for adding their photos- I haven't heard from Dolores since the passing of her husband Dale and wondered if you might know how she is? Thanks and have a nice holiday, bob Robert Cline- she's my 3rd cousin
