I'm frustrated. Still trying to correct the name
for Franklin Nasworthy in Cedar Hill Cemetery. It
has been sort of corrected, to William Franklin Nasworthy, but I have no idea where the William part comes in. He was just Franklin Nasworthy, no William that I'm aware of.
He appeared on census records as Franklin and on family papers as Franklin. He was son of Franklin Nasworthy Sr of Jefferson County, Ga. His father died and mother remarried a man named Rev Henry Davis Murphy and was living in his household after the death of his mother. Please, help me get the record at findagrave.com corrected??? His daughter with Julia Cannon was just Florence, no middle name, Nasworthy. The family seemed to go with just first and last names. The William throws people off.
He was called "Frank Nasworthy" and was Mayor of Dawson, Terrell, GA when he died and his obituary was written as simply Frank Nasworthy as also was his stone in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Jeters
hi. I noticed that you have created a number of memorials for the Jeters in Linwood, and am wondering if you are a descendant. I am related to the Jeters through the marriage of William Jeter and Margaret Gartrell, and am trying to find some of their descendants. Thanks, Tim

RE: Jesse Frank Bussey
You have to pull up wife Sallie Tooke Bussey's pension application on line in GA virtual vault. In her paperwork she says she married him in Chattahoochee Co, Ga in Oct 1871. and he died in Dawson, Ga on Aug 19, 1892. thanks!
