Pls, pls, pls... do not bomb bard me with this female/male check boxes... I do not have the time (at this time) to go thru & mark them all... compared to other crucial info that may be more important or helpful to their families.

My paternal great grandmother kept great family notes(she had 15 children)and wrote her own family history book, which my great aunt updates ever year. My dad was into genealogy & I became interested when my great-grandmother sent me my first family book in 1986.
I get excited when I find a new link in my family lines, so I also enjoy helping others find theirs.
I think 'Find A Grave' is the next best thing to the real cemeteries when they are too far to travel. I try to connect those in death as they were in life by the links.

I appreciate any comments, advice, & correction requests thru the individual memorial edit button.(Everyone makes mistakes). Please be nice, otherwise I won't respond....

I use the census records a great deal in bio's because it helps with linking families together & helps others to find the right person you are looking for when you know related family members.

I have stopped honoring all transfer requests...
I will transfer memorials only if the are within the 'FindAGrave' four generation guidelines. I am more then happy to add info & am capable of maintaining the older memorials. Most of the memorial's I document are those that have long passed & may have many living decedents that can trace their roots back to the same ancestor. If they are more recent & fall within the rules I will make the transfer, but...PLZ send me your member number in your request!

Please feel free to use any photos I have posted on 'Find A Grave'...

Thanks
