Bio
I was born June 21, 1923, in Brevard, NC, son of Bert J. and Betty MCCrary Sitton, Sr. I served tree years in the U. S. Army during World War II. After the war I was married to Dorothy Justus of Hendersonville, and we have two children, three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. I have been doing research on the Sitton and Gillespie families for over 40 years.
