Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researching my roots in the late 1970's, late nights of handwriting letters and waiting for the mailman each day, hoping to get a reply. Isn't the internet great? Anyways. I don't remember how I discovered "Find A Grave", but it has been a great research source for me. I have even met cousins that I never new existed. Transcribing cemeteries in my area has been my new hobby, hoping that maybe I can help just one person looking for that loved one! Many thanks for the people that has helped me! Donna

Garcitas cemetery
While cruising through the site, I stumbled upon the Garcitas, Tex cemetery, and am intrigued by it. What few stones have been photographed are simple and homemade, or military. What did you find about this cemetery? Just curious... Thanks!

Find A Grave Memorial# 14828103
Would you mind transferring Find A Grave Memorial# 14828103 to me? Arrena Ellin Dutton Harrison is my 3rd great grandmother and I can fill in all the blanks.
Thanks,

Alan Smith

Donna, you have done so much work in our cemetery and we are grateful.

If you live in the area, please go to the Hoovers valley cafe and make yourself acquainted with our matriarch, Lou Wells.

She cannot place you, but I am sure you know her. If not, you should meet her. She is a treasure.

Henry Atkins
Hi Donna,
I took a picture of Henry Akins 5/30/1905 to 8/15/1950 marker in Falfurrias Burial Park. I then noticed those are the same dates you have for Henry Atkins. I posted the photos on Henry Akins memorial page, so you might want to look at it. There are several Atkins buried in this park, but I didn't see Henry Atkins. I will continue to look so I get a photo for you.

Thank you very much for going there Donna. I was hoping the headstone would tell me more than what the cemetery could provide, but I suppose not. Thank you for researching as well. Jacki Earp
