Bio

I live in Rising Sun, Indiana not too far from
Cincinnati, Ohio. I work for American Electric Power as a Maintenance Supervisor and have for the last 34 years. I am a Vietnam Veteran and served at Cu Chi with the 25th Infantry Division in 1967-68. I met Don Morfe who does so much to help us find out about and remember the Medal of Honor recipients. He came to my hometown and we went to the grave site of William Shepherd. Don is an amazing man and travels the USA in his search of grave sites of the MOH recipients. He also got me involved with the placing of a new stone for Charles H. Seston in New Albany, IN.
Married to Paula Kay Curry on 12-5-1970. Two children: Brian and Kelli. Grandson, Kaden Gentrup, born August 29, 2006. Daughter-in-law, Annette Stansberry Gentrup. Kelli has twins, a boy (Grady on 2-29-08) and a girl (Carli on 3-1-08). New additions: Alexandra born on May 7, 2010 to Brian & Annette and Coleton born to Kelli & Rich on Aug. 4, 2010. Picture at the left is me with Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. Sammy Davis from Indiana. Sammy is a great representative for the MOH and loves to talk to students any time he gets the chance.
I retired on June 30, 2009 from AEP so I have a new email address.
