Please use the Suggest a Correction link under the edit tab to request corrections, updates, transfers, etc. I am always willing to transfer non-family members, but please use the Suggest a Correction link. It makes life so much easier for everyone involved!

I have been infatuated with cemeteries since I was a little girl, so it makes sense that I would be drawn to genealogy as an adult. I have been researching my family for more than 25 years. I am very fortunate that my job takes me all over the place so that I can visit the final resting place of generations of my relatives. It also allows me to take photos or do transcriptions in various cemeteries throughout the country even if I do not personally have family members buried there.

Doing cemetery transcriptions is a labor of love. It requires a lot of hard work and sweat, and sometimes a lot of bug repellent, but I think it's one of the greatest hobbies around. I feel it is very important to document the final resting place of those gone before us so that others can know where their family members are buried. It is also important to preserve some of the older cemeteries before all is lost due to climate and/or lack of upkeep.

What I have done with my life is unimportant. I want to be remembered as the best daughter, Sistor, wife, friend and step-mother possible. I have loved being Auntie JuJu to my wonderful nieces and nephews and now to my sweet great-nieces and great-nephews. My family means everything to me.
