Bio

I see Findagrave as a way to preserve the past. I love to visit old cemeteries and look at the different ways in which people have laid to rest, whether it be grave, tomb, mausoleum, etc.

I do my best to not just add records to add them. However, if I do come across a cemetery that is not listed on findagrave.com and I can add that cemetery, I will do my best to document at least a few so that the cemetery is not "vacant."

I like to walk cemeteries and take pictures for those who request them. It's like a scavenger hunt in the graveyard! Like I said, I just don't take pictures of graves to take pictures of graves, mainly because if someone actually wants a picture of a memorial, then they will probably ask for it. That particular person may not want a picture of the headstone or marker for a reason.

Most of the memorials I manage on here are somehow related to me. There are a few friends I've added as well as the aforementioned people in the "vacant" cemeteries. If they are not related to me, I will proudly transfer. But I don't just transfer to transfer because, well, that's stupid. Yes, I said that and I don't care what you think about me for saying that.

Have any questions about the Birmingham area? Shoot me an email and I'll be glad to find out if I don't know off the top of my head.

My family names: Johnston, Smith, Crenshaw, Sanders, Shockley, Carter, Rayford, Clower, Sellers, Wilson, Coskrey, Estes, Williams, Taylor, Mosier, Keal, Bailey, Bence.

My girlfriend's family names: Thomas, Colburn
