I caught the genealogy bug in 1981 and have never found a cure...not that I want to! In between looking for my own ancestors and those on my grandchildren's paternal sides, I've helped friends and co-workers find theirs. When I come across an interesting family elsewhere with a long-deceased family member for whom no FaG memorial exists, I create one. I also created Memorials for the Dearly Departeds in a "forgotten" cemetery I'd walked and photographed, and was happy to transfer them to family members unaware until then the memorials existed.

I'm not a hoarder and only once have I ever charged to build a tree (long story). Family history is my only "vice", what I do for fun and hopefully keep younger generations from having to begin researching their roots from scratch like I did.

Alas, I'm no longer able to walk cems as a FaG Photo Volunteer, but still willing to help anyone get past speed bumps in their research via email or messages on Ancestry, Messenger, etc.

Have a great day!
