Lottie Roberts Barkholz Hi Connie, I contacted Find A Grave directly a week ago and they fixed both records. However, I see now they merged my correct information and now you are the owner of my grandmother. I give up. Atleast the information is now correct
Maria Elizabeth DeGroff Casler Constance, if the memorial for Maria was one of yours in Sand Beach Cemetery, Cayuga Co., NY, it is now gone. I got a notice that my edit had been accepted, but the link says the memorial has been removed:
"This is an automated email letting you know that your recent edit for the Maria Elizabeth DeGroff Casler (1838 - 1875) Find A Grave memorial has been accepted. Link to updated memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=80202591"
If the removal was a mistake, I wanted to let you know. If it was on purpose, I'm wondering if you are going to put it back up. If not, I'll do so.
Sorry if this wasn't your memorial. Now that it's gone, I can't tell, except that you had others for this family.
My Grandmother Hi Connie, can you delete your memorial for my grandmother. She was not a Gutzka. She was born a Roberts, adopted to Wanke, married a Barkholz. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSmcid=47876392&GRid=97969747&
RE: Transfers Good Morning Constance, Per your request, I happily transferred John Henry and Augusta Heft's memorial pages over to you. However, I am not the creator of Henry John and Martha Ann Heft's memorial pages. Their pages, you will have to request by using the Edit tab on their main page.
Yes. Laura was inactive at the time they were transferred over to me. Again, use the Edit tab on each memorial and request a transfer over to you. To e-mail Find A Grave directly, it is firstname.lastname@example.org but always remember to utilize that Edit tab so no one has to search for a name and to locate what cemetery they are in. They respond much quicker.
I hope this answers your questions and please have a nice day!
RE: Neff Family I saw an ad for that the other day. A couple of weeks ago (we live in Wichita), we were headed to El Dorado, and the wind had been so bad that we could see 1/2-1 mile, and it was orange. Kind of scary. We need rain pretty badly.
RE: Neff Family No, I don't. I found the graves when taking pictures at the cemetery, so started digging some on Ancestry.com. I just have the plot, names, and some dates, but the cemetery might have obituaries or other notes in their files. Always seems like when someone back then lost a baby, that there are several gone. Wonder if genetics, Rh factor, some disease played a factor? BD
RE: Shaw family I'm sorry Constance, what I have are pictures of Clara Dodge. I get them all mixed up. The Dodge, Shaw, Sauer, Stoaks, Gilette, Perkins families seemed to all be related and I have many of the old family photos.
