Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired medical secretary with a long time love of genealogy. I have been working on my family - off & on - for over 50 yrs. I am married, have one son and two fantastic grandchildren, who are the love of my life.

I truly enjoy searching for my ancestors, but I do wish that I could fill in some of my "blanks" where I have run into a brick wall. Maybe, one of these days. I also wish that I had asked more questions of some of my relatives while they were still alive. So many questions unasked.

Please feel free to use any photos that I have submitted.

Good luck to all and good hunting.

RE: Amanda Berry Moffett Memorial# 13820750
Thanks for your reply. I looked into it a bit myself and have a theory that James Moffett married Amanda Wilkerson, then perhaps she died and he married Elizabeth Berry? James appears in later census as being married to an Elizabeth rather than Amanda and their birth years are different.

Amanda Berry Moffett Memorial# 13820750

I have a question I'm hoping you can answer, please. I've found marriage records for James D Moffett in Angelina County, TX, and the last name listed for Amanda is Wilkerson; however, I see here that it's listed as Berry. Everything else seems to match so I feel pretty comfortable that I have the right couple. Was Amanda married to a Wilkerson before she married JD Moffett?

Thanks in advance - oh, and I see on your profile that you've hit some brick walls (haven't we all!) so if you'd like to run anything past me I'd be happy to take a look. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes can see the tree AND the forest :)
