I have been involved in my family genealogy research since 1979. We come from all over, Canada, England, Ireland, Germany as well as throughout the US.
The family surnames that I am researching are: Barrett, French, Flesher, Oliver, Moutray, Kirk, Fish, Vanskiver, Radford, Dunn and New. Give me a hollar if any of those are familiar to you!
I am NOT a professional genealogist. I am willing to help those with questions or perhaps direct them to someone that might help, if possible.
I have been involved with Find A Grave for over 6 years and have finally settled into the area! I'm currently focusing on Arlington, St. Paul's and West Laurel Hill cemeteries.
Good luck and happy family hunting!

|Karen Holmes||Thank You Denise!|
I so appreciate you, No one knew where my Grandfather was laid to rest until today, thank you so very much. My Grandfather Albert M. Smith died in 1956 I learned that he may have died in New Jersey through SSI records like 10 years ago.. (Didn't know if I had the right Albert Smith) So tonight I got on Find A Grave and found him, only because you had taken the time to upload a picture of his grave spot, which has no grave marking at all, no stone? Thank You from the bottom of my heart, Thank You Karen Holmes

I appreciate your not doing multiple multiple edits in a day. I get at least 100 edits a day as it is. It's turning out to be a full time job. When I did the memorials I had visions of family finding them. I was not prepared for all the people who are not family who do edits.
Happy New Year!
High Plains :)

Thank you very much for taking the photograph at this cemetery for me.
|Brian Backes||RE: Sarah Burke|
I am originally from Glenburn and have been to the cemetery many times. I have photographed the entire cemetery and added the photos to Find A Grave, and there is not a marker for her. I added her memorial, and several others, from old Glenburn newspaper clippings from the microfilm library at the ND Historical Society library. Someday I am going to find out who has burial records for the cemetery to see if I can find out the locations of some of these unmarked graves.

Right after I sent the message I saw that you had linked both husbands.
|High Plains||Ida Vance # 113993143|
You asked to edit her last name to Vance-Kirk.
If she was married twice, I would link her to her husbands. Her marker has Vance as a last name. According to Find A Grave guidelines, the last name on the memorial should be what is on her marker.
