I am a native of Pennsylvania. I was born and raised in Monessen. I was a graduate of Monessen High School with the Class of 1957. I came from a steel family and moved to Valparaiso Indiana to become a fourth generation Steelworker. I am proud to report that my oldest Grandson, David is now working as a welder in the local steel mill and is now the fifth generation in my family to carry on.

I retired in 2000 and now have more time to enjoy my hobbies of Amateur Radio and Genealogy. I have spent a lot of time researching my Nicolaus family tree. I hope the additions I have made to this site are of use to you.
