I work fulltime, but my hobby is to help others with researching their ancestors and take a picture of a grave marker where and when I can. Sometimes on vacation, I will even stop if I drive by a cemetery that has a request for a picture!|
Im currently in midmove from IA to NC, and suspending photo requests for the time being.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I have Clements ancestors in SW Indiana, mostly in Daviess and Martin counties, maybe Orange County as well. I'm not sure if my ancestors are connected to Oscar. Eventually I hope to accumulate enough data to answer your question.
I descend from Bazel Clements (1770-1848) through his son, John. I have seen several online family trees that indicate Thomas Clements who married Elizabeth Summers was a son of Bazel & Mary Morgan, but I don't think so. Bazel died intestate and I have his probate administration records, which include every possible heir, including the children of Bazel's deceased children. There is no Thomas, nor a Benjamin among them. There are other inferential reasons as well.
I have a theory that Thomas and Benjamin were brothers connected to Joseph D. Clements who was the only head of household in 1820 in Martin Co. with the Clements surname. His household included sons whose ages would match Thomas and Benjamin.
If you have access to a diary by Oscar's father, are you one of their descendants? Do you have any input on the question of Thomas Clements' parentage?
Would you rather carry on this conversation by E-mail? Mine is: firstname.lastname@example.org

May I ask from where you got his death date as it is not on the grave marker?

My wife Deborah Huber Staats would like to know how and if you are related.

I am not a relative if you would like this transferred to you, I can do that. Thanks! Derry

Frances Holtz Scherer is linked to her husband. You are welcome.
|Sara Cross||Margaret Bollenbacher Young|
I'm sure you've noticed that I sent Margaret's memorial to you. If you have other family that you would like just send me a list of their memorial numbers and I'd be more than happy to transfer them to you. Have a great day!
|Heather (~.~)||Anna Lebo & John Gebhart|
Are you by chance a decendent of Anna Lebo (memorial #25235031) & John Gebhart (memorial # 25234776). They are our ancestors and I'd love to know anything you may know about this family.
HI, THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION ON MRS. FEIMSTER. I HAVE ADDED IT TO HER MEMORIAL. THANKS AGAIN. JOAN

I think I figured out what happened. I set up one memorial and a Chet Walker had done the same. He transferred management of his to me which resulted in two memorials by me. I could not delete the one that was transferred to me but I have deleted the original one I set up. I have a video of the cemetery from the late 1990's. At that time the cemetery was an overgrown jungle and the markers for William and Eugenia were in bad shape and hard to read. This was commented on by the individuals making the video.
It appears someone has cleaned up the cemetery since then and also cleaned the grave markers as those on findagrave are much much better than on the video I have. At the time of the video the nearby old Shull farm house was visible in the background. I understand that area around the cemetery is now a "gated" subdivision. Harold
