Madeleine Fila
Hi - Madeleine was my great-great aunt (sister of my great grandmother, Louise Flore Eugénie David Woit Bartkowicz, who was born in 1899 and died in 1986. I noticed on Madeleine`s tombstone that it also read `Born in Belus France`. I found the ship manifest of their voyage from France to New York City, Célinie Guyot accompanied by her children Louise, Adolphe, Marie, and Adolphe if I recall correctly - en route to Thorburn Nova Scotia to join husband Bernard David was already in Canada a few months earlier , from 1919. They travelled on La Touraine, a famous ship which in its time was one of the largest - quite luxurious for the first class passengers from the photos I`ve seen of it (La Touraine, incidentally, was the first ship to warn the Titanic about iceburgs in 1912). If you would like this info I`ll be glad to share it. Shawn White, Montreal

William Currier
Hi Gayle, I went back today looking for William. I did not find him but I did not walk the whole cemetery either for time reasons. I did find some other Curriers that you have memorials for so I photographed them and added them to their memorials. We are in for snow again so I think this may have been the last opportunity till spring. Next to the Currier stone for Francis, Marada, Enoch and Hannah there are definitely graves that are unmarked. Perhaps he is there. Will keep an eye out in the future for him.

William Currier
I did not see William but I wasn't looking for him either. Enoch and Hannah were on the same stone with Francis and Marada Currier. I did not see any other names listed. Next time I am in there I will look for William.
