Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a full-time firefighter for the City of Lancaster, Ohio. I am the fire department historian as I am very interested in history.

I am a photo volunteer for my area and have really ran into some very interesting stories and cemeteries. I enjoy helping people research there family history. I have two small kids so time for this hobby is sometimes hard to find. I have started searching my family history. With the help of many lost family members I have found so much info and photo's.

My Family Names: Scott, Sipe, Hollanshed, Courtney, Nanna, Mills, Dye, Sharrock, Peoples.

Frank Scott
Sorry - it's me again... what RR did Frank work for? My great grandfather James Sharrock (Frank Sharrock's brother) worked for the Erie RR out of Galion.

I am related to Stella through her father Frank. Frank's final location was a brick wall of mine for 5-6 years, and my cousin Boyd's for 31 years. He died before I could tell him where Frank was... I thank you for posting these pictures... they remind me of one of my best genealogical buddies... I miss him....he's been gone for 15 years... he was a veteran of the Battle of Normandy, and was a wonderful man.

Thank goodness for you & the wonderful volunteers for your selfless volunteerism. Without you, those of us who don't live there anymore may never be able to find our ancestors!

Asbury Cemetery addition
Samuel Shambaugh Hammack #29571530 (my 5th great grandfather!
wife: Louisa C. Mauk #29571529
Michael R. Hammack (1825 - 1893)*
Daniel R. Hammack (1829 - 1911)*
Samuel Harvey Hammock (1840 - 1900)*

I have one additional child to add, my ancestor:
Mary E . Hammack b. 1830 VA d. 1924, so she was born before Michael R. Hammack listed above. Also for your information, you may want to post that Hammack was the name in VA before moving to OH and then the name changed to Hammock, so that is how I searched.

I live in Traverse City, MI. Can you tell me how I would find Asbury Cemetery, Fairfield Co, OH? I have been to Lancaster only once, so keep the directions very simple. And hopefully I can send you other messages regarding Fairfield Co. Oh, firefighters are great for what they do, how they serve and the places they can find!

Thanks for posting the pics
I have been researching my family history for over the past few years. Today I was looking up more grave sites on here and well, what do you took the photo of my gg-grandparents grave sites (at Elmwood Cemetary). Very interesting as I saw your name as the contributor of the photos and I know you, ha ha. Thanks for the photos! If it was not for the photos, I would have never known where my gg-grandparents were buried (they are on my grandfathers side - I have most of my grandmothers side finished in research). Anyway, thanks for all the work you did for everyone posting all of the photographs! Very nice job!

Hi Jason, the picture you have post on the memorial for David Hamilton Wheatcraft should be removed as that is the headstone for his father, which is also posted on the Memorial for Daniel Wheatcraft. Thank you.
