Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in Genealogy for over 30 years. When I retired in 1987 I became envolved with the local Genealogical Society. In 2000 I published my first Family Book, my second one in 2005. I am now working on my Mother's family and hope to finish by Dec. 2007.
I have been entering all my family graves and pictures that I have. Then I joined to volunteer to take pictures in my area to help others get pictures of their family graves. Lots of fun.

Ruby Jewell and Frieda
Ruby Jewell and Frieda were sisters. Jewell's AZ Death certificate gives her parents as Joe Walker and Maude Rogers (with RoDgers struck through).
I can't find the sisters in a census with these parents. Can you advise?

Interesting. Thank you for your reply. Those names ring a bell but it has been a while since I worked on that line. I try to send info and links to page owners as I work a given line, because sometimes, things come up during research.

Sounds like you did some thorough investigating. Thanks again for the update.

That's OK, is there anything I still need to do? I didn't really understand the first message. If possible, sending it on the person's page makes it clearer but I can work with things from the messages too, just wasn't clear if there's anything I needed to do. Thanks.

Henry Hamilton - # 40519158
Hi Betty - Yes, Nancy Eleanor Crow is his mother. I'm working my way through the children of Henry Dodge Crow Sr. (only 13 of them!) and ran out gas before sending the edit. Five more of Nancy's children to go, then back to her siblings. As always, I'm grateful for your help. ~ Nancy

RE: Sarah and John Applegate
Hi Bette! I just went on I thought I did see someone on there. I found his family tree and he is Josephcarter2006 and that is also the name of that family tree. I sent him a message to let him know that he is wrong and Sarah only had one marriage and that was to John. Thanks for pointing that out. Take care, Rochelle

RE: Margaret Ann (Medlock) Hicks
Me too! I have a picture of Margaret, Martin, Nancy and several of the children and grandchildren. Do you have one? If not I can send it to you. I think they could be found but it would take alot of hours going through old probate records at the Douglas County Courthouse! I just know they are buried at New Hope. My grandpa was Kelly Medlock, son of Thomas and Cynthia. He always said his grandpa and grandma were buried there at New Hope. And like I said the farm was just up the creek from the cemetery. We will find them one day!

RE: Margaret Ann (Medlock) Hicks
Hi Betty! I am still looking too! Sorry it took me a year to answer this email. I guess I didn't see it! So sorry. I don't know for sure where Margaret Arthur Matlock/Medlock or Martin and Nancy are buried. I think they are probably buried at New Hope Cemetery in Douglas County MO. That is where many of Martin & Nancy's children are buried. The farm they homesteaded is less than a mile away from the cemetery. I am still looking for that piece of information that tells me for sure they are there!
