Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired, and working on my family genealogy. I have now entered most burials for River View to Find A Grave. I am also working on a project to aid in the search for burials in Section Q, there are no lot markers in this section making it difficult to find burials. I have several books on burials in Dearborn & Ohio counties in Indiana. I volunteer on several sites to do free look-ups,of burials in these counties. I will also search for anyone here. Just e-mail your request with the name, date, and the permit number,if known.
Also, if I entered a person in your family on Find A Grave, and you would like to add a bio for that person, email me with the information you would like to add, and I will add it for you, and give you credit for the info.
Pete

Hello, I was wondering if you would please transfer Charles Raymond Cole memorial 20252830 and Thomas William Cole memorial 20412291 to me?
They are my grand uncles. I would appreciate your consideration. Thank you, Mary Cole Hensley.

Lena E Warner Powell
What a wonderful job you havedone with River View cemetery. I do have an observation. I came across a Lena E Warner Powell #19296630 in River View Cem and wondered if it might be the same as Lena E. Powell #32690865 that is in Mount Sinai Cem.? The latter has no dates but says wife of Eli H. Powell, the same as the other. Thought you might want to check this out. Thank you for all the Powell info and photos thet you have entered. Helen

RE: Carlile Ryan Smith Ward
Hi Pete,
Sorry, I linked to you from the page for her grave (created in 2007), and didn't realize that there is another person now maintaining it. In any event, she is buried at Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN. As far as I can tell, Maltby Smith isn't buried there. So far, there's no death record. His inventory and property disbursement occurred in Boone County, but it's unclear if he died there. Carlile was remarried in Boone County (to J. Ward) in Dec 1852, so she was still there. I think Maltby must've died in early '52, based on documents and the birth of his youngest daughter.

Thanks for responding, and for your work on findagrave!

Carlile Ryan Smith Ward
Hi,
I am interested in any information you may have run across on Maltby Smith, Carlile's first husband. I know they were married in Boone County, KY and that he died around 1852. He's listed as being from New Jersey on his daughter's death records, and I can place him in Boone Co. in 1835, as a postmaster. I know he must've been a bit older than Carlile when they were married. Any information would be great!

Thanks,
Hillary
