Bio

If I have made any mistakes, please feel free to email me with changes and I will get them posted as soon as possible. I am a retired woman, mother of 1 adopted son (age 12). My husband and I moved back to the house his father and mother built in 1946 about 13 months ago after he retired and when his mother moved to senior housing. We live in a VERY small community and spend our summers mowing the yard and family cemetary (Stephenson Cemetary, Chariton Co., MO.). Mowing and maintaining this cemetary is very relaxing and comforting to me. My husband's grandparents and great grandparents are buried there along with other distant family members and it meant a great deal to his father to keep the cemetary mowed. In honor of his father's memory we continue to maintain it as best we can. It is a peaceful, beautiful place. I have had an attraction to cemetaries for years and enjoy their quiet beauty as you walk through them trying to imagine what all those people were like and enjoying the beauty of the headstones. I am not good at geneology but felt that by contributing to cemetary listings I might be able to preserve information for future generations as they search for their roots. If I have made any errors on my entries or if you have additional information you would like added to any of my entries, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will get the corrections made or additions made as soon as possible.
