Oaklawn Cemetery:

A special thanks to Judy Meador Sanders for all the additional information she sends to me to add to the Sulphur, Oaklawn cemetery listings.

In addition, I would like to thank my two young daughters who help me photograph memorials and assist in watching for duplicate memorials as I input them.

Update: I have begun inputting using a spreadsheet. It only catches exact duplicates. Therefore, when I upload the photographs I will be deleting any duplicates I inadvertently created. It just goes so much quicker that it's worth the temporary duplications. Please understand, I have a lot going on in life and so pictures are coming slowly but will come.

CORLEY Cemetery - I walked this cemetery on July 21, 2013 and do hope I photographed all legible stones.... at least that was my intent. I am not related to anyone there so if you want any transfers from me, feel free to ask.

Hi:
First off, please accept my thank you for the work that you are doing in connecting the pictures and families.

I see from Aunt Oma's link that you have Violet Othelia and Velma Ona as calculated relationships. They are her sisters - Aunt Ona being her twin, and Allie C Mayberry and Jessie Mayberry are her parents.

We have several family members buried at Oaklawn Cemetery at Sulphur.

Aunt Ona has children buried there - their last name is Ingram - Jerry Lynn and Larry Dale.

My niece Amanda Jo Holman # 14765712 and my brother Donald Joe Billings # 95332281.

I am sure there are others. I just haven't kept on searching. Again, thank you! Diana Turner

John S Stephens Info
Lois,

I see that you created a memorial for John S Stephens in the Oaklawn Cemetary, Sulphur. Do you happen to have any additional information about him or have you been contacted by anyone whom is also looking for his genealogy?

Tinsley, Hill, extended families
First, Lois, I want to thank you for giving of your time and efforts to do the work you do for Find A Grave. You are making it possible for people such as I am, to see their extended family graves, etc. I started my journey in genealogy in the 1980's and with the help of the Lord I am still on my journey. I no longer can visit the cemeteries seeking graves of family but thanks to you and others who are so willingly giving of their time and talents, I can still see their tombstones. I hope it is alright with you for me to make copies of your photos of their markers for my family files on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker. May God Bless you for doing this work to help other people.
