I enjoy wandering through cemeteries and reading the stones to learn about people who have gone before and see how they are remembered by their loved ones. I think it's important to preserve the stones and the memories of those gone before.|
I have researched my Zinn and Rose family histories since the mid 1980s, and I've made many friends while doing so, some of whom are also relatives ;). It amazes me how the characteristics of one generation are passed to the next, and I love learning about the people; not just the dates and places.
I strive for accuracy and clarity when I post a memorial, but mistakes sometimes happen; please let me know of errors and I will promptly make corrections.

We all make mistakes, and I've seen worse.

Hello, I am new to researching genealogy. I found my 3x great grandparents, and you were the contributor to their grave information website. I have a question. How come the date of births on the grave markers and the dates listed on the website are not the same? Is this normal? John Edward "Joe" Simmons - Memorial# 95475419

I check and I don't have any unposted photos from this part of the cemetery. There were many recent unmarked graves when I visited and this cemetery doesn't uses the "temporary" markers that other do.
I don't live very close and only visited to systematically photograph the cemetery. (I have one cousin in this cemetery and when I photographed his tombstone I thought I would just photograph the entire cemetery since it needed to be done.) There are others who live nearby and like to fulfill photo requests so you might want to submit a Photo Request.

Thank you so much for allowing me to use your photos of my family. It is much appreciated for I know it entails a lot of hard work. Again I give my thanks.

I am writing to ask your permission to use the photo of Nathan D Lane's grave marker and that of his wife Myrtle L Edwards.

Thank you and all the Find A Grave volunteers who place pictures as well as family information on this website for the rest of us who find it impossible to travel to these final resting places for our ancestors. You are truly a blessing.
