Thank you for the additional information. I note on your bio the "Seabees" = my dad was in the 58th Seabees during World War II Admiralty Islands, Guadalcanal and finally at Okinawa, and also Korea. And, I was also born on March 4th, but a few years earlier. Thank you.

RE: Alexander Hawkins Cromwell
Thanks again for posting this for us. This is an awesome article. The Cromwell family has certainly been an interesting study for me.

Alexander Hawkins Cromwell
The information you posted on Dr. Alexander Hawkins Cromwell is fascinating and something we did not know about this man. May I have permission to post it on for others to see?

I married Susan Cromwell who is the 3rd great-granddaughter of Alexander Cromwell (1811-1872). Dr. Alexander Hawkins Cromwell would be a cousin of my wife (although a few time removed I think).

I have written the story of the Cromwell family which I am happy to share if you would like to see it.

What is the source for the article you posted? We knew he died in California but don't know where he was buried.

Thanks so much,
Jim Norris

Thank you for posting her obit. I helps with a few tidbits of missing family info. At this point her headstone is still visible on the first page so I won't move it up. Thank you for the heads up though. Regards - Tammy
