I am a Daughter of a Union Veteran of the Civil War. (DUVCW) My Great Great Grandfather, John Delong fought in the Civil War. I am unable to find his grave. He died in Spencerville, Ohio on June 17, 1895 at the age of 84.

I volunteer at the Grand Rapids, Michigan Home for Veterans.
I maintain the Cemetery records and make sure the tombstones get ordered and placed at the burial site in a timely manner.

I am an United States Air Force Veteran.

Also I am the secretary for the Grand Rapids Civil War Round Table. And I am a director on our newly formed group, Friends of Michigan Veterans' Homes. We raise money for the little extras for our Vets in the Homes.

It is hard for me to pass a cemetery without stopping. Lucky for me, my husband has the same interests.
