|Herbert Lee Cover III||RE: Marie Florence Knoepfel Smith, memorial 101054934|
I am not related to Florence, nor did I know her.
A good friend of mine (Wallace Berry) knew her when he was stationed somewhere in New York. He lost track of her, and often wondered what happened to her. I told him that I would try to find her on the Internet. I think she meant a lot to him.
It took me awhile, but I found a relative of hers who had uploaded a family tree on the Internet. I found out that she had died several years ago. Somehow I was able to find out that she married the Smith guy just shortly before her death.
It sounded like Florence had a hard life, and may not have kept up with the family. I thought it would be a nice gesture to remember her with a memorial page on Find A Grave.
We were trying to find out more about her, but my friend Wallace died over a year ago at age 99. However, I'm still curious if you know anything.

Don, I gave you management of the Knoepfels.
|Ken B||Marra at Holy Rood|
I was at Holy Rood to fulfill your photo request today. Just as a "heads up," the correct grave data is Section 30, Row A, Plot 17/19.

Hi, just to let you know----there were two other grave markers with the same last name right next to Leslie. Some bushes are in the way, so I am going to take some clippers and do some trimming so I can take the picture. I think it was Wilhelmina and William. (I had talked to a groundskeeper and they don't trim bushes until June or so.)

Thanks for the info on Eleanor!

Thanks for calling my attention to Della's duplicate memorial. I deleted hers & that of her 2 sons, Orrin & Milford.

According to billiongraves.com, yes, Dorothy is buried in Valley Lawn. Her obituary implies this also.
Have a good day,

Are you related to William and Mary Sullivan Deery buried at Holyhood Cemetery. Thank you for their entries. I am connected to this line and would like to share info. I also have a photo of their headstone. Janet

|Bill and Denise||RE: duplicate memorial|
You are more than welcome. I noticed it because when I claim a request I look to see if there are other family members to find when I visit the office for the grave location. Have a blessed day.

Did you notice the birthdate on the headstone is different than the birthdate on the memorial. I hope this is the correct headstone.
