RE: George Edward Clucas Jennifer, the office secretary, did mention there is more than one Mount Hope Cemetery in Nebraska. I think she said the next closest one is in Tekamah. You may want to try there.
RE: Manning - Mount Calvary I doubt if they have the place of death, in my experience that is rare, especially for large cemeteries. Do you have any idea if she lived out of Mass or here. Or could have been away??? I'll send soon.
RE: Manning - Mount Calvary That is a nice BIG monument and there are names all over it. Do you need more names and dates??? I have a few other pix that include them but I didn't want to send them all and clutter the "page." It is nice being next to a big celeb, the Monument to Murnane was put there by the American League in 1919, not any family. Ban Johnson, the AL prez, was at the unveiling with hundreds of other folks and ballplayers.
A good friend of mine (Wallace Berry) knew her when he was stationed somewhere in New York. He lost track of her, and often wondered what happened to her. I told him that I would try to find her on the Internet. I think she meant a lot to him.
It took me awhile, but I found a relative of hers who had uploaded a family tree on the Internet. I found out that she had died several years ago. Somehow I was able to find out that she married the Smith guy just shortly before her death.
It sounded like Florence had a hard life, and may not have kept up with the family. I thought it would be a nice gesture to remember her with a memorial page on Find A Grave.
We were trying to find out more about her, but my friend Wallace died over a year ago at age 99. However, I'm still curious if you know anything.
