Since I started working on my genealogy and could not find the information I was looking for, I started looking into Findagrave for death dates so I could find obituaries. So in my travels I started taking pictures of headstones so others could benefit as I have from their work.
I live between Seattle and Tacoma, Washington and would be glad to help others in finding graves, recording, and pictures.

Emma I Wakefield Becker #112112015
She has a new headstone as her husband (my grandfather Lloyd) has recently passed away and is buried in the same plot. I have added an updated picture of the new headstone. Would you please remove the headstone picture you added as it no longer shows the correct inscription. Thank you - Her granddaughter.

Memorial for John Steen #66424961
Donald,

John Steen is my second great grandfather. I have some questions about his wife Jane D Wright Steen. You have a memorial for her (#66424960) at IOOF cemetery along with her husband but no headstone picture. Do you recall if there was a headstone for Jane there as well? The reason I'm asking is that there is another grave in Dayton cemetery (#25123330) that I'm thinking is hers; the DOB is missing but the DOD is correct as well as the inscription is "Wife of John". Also, Dayton is where many of my ancestors are buried. I notice the headstone picture for John Steen at IOOF shows a fairly new looking stone and I wonder if it was placed there by relatives years later. Is it possible that the grave site in Dayton is where Jane is but they erected a stone for her along with her husband in IOOF years later even though she is not there? Do you have any information on the IOOF Jane grave other than what is in your memorial?

Any information you can provide will be appreciated.

Bob

Mr. Miller

I left a request for a photo of my friend's grave last year, but have never heard from anyone. It says you are the contributor of her and her husband's grave at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way. I have updated her information and added her son's information and linked her to her husband Art. If you could please add a photo of her grave I would be so thankful. I have been unable to ever visit her grave. She passed away in Boise Idaho but was buried with her husband in Federal Way. Her memorial number is 63221323. Thank you so much.

Charles Duncan
This was my grandmothers (Nancy Arlean Minniear)first love. When she passed away in 2008 at 102 yrs of age, my mother (her ex-daughter in law of 32 yrs) placed a picture of Charles that my grandmother had given her and asked her to bury this picture with her when it was her time and my mother placed this in her hands before they closed the casket. This is true love! She continued to lose 2 husbands after him. Grandma always remembered him and always placed flowers on his grave which we continue to do to this day. Gone but never forgotten and will be passed down to the greats and great-great grandkids to do the same!

THANK YOU!!!
Sir,

I want to Thank You from the bottom of my heart for taking this picture for me! Emma is Our Little Angel and God had other plans for her. I am still currently serving in the Army and in Kuwait right now. Though seeing this picture is a very emotional thing for me I also feel some closer. Losing my little girl was extremely difficult and to this day still is. I saw that you put flowers there for her and I am so grateful I just wish I could find the right words to say to thank you fully. It's people like you that make this world a better place, you have brought comfort to me and I will forever be appreciative of what you have done for me. Thank You so much Sir and may God bless you!!!
