You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you get a prince. It is so nice to know that we can share all of the photos we took of other families while looking for our own. It makes the time spent in our search seem to be not so wasted. Hopefully, someone else can benefit from a place we have been even when we were kissing frogs. Big Grin!
Did I spell it wrong, It's Willits, Mendocino Co., Calif; the grand horse Seabicuit was raised and died on Ridgewood Ranch. My wife and I went here to see the town and then traveled to Ft Bragg and saw what they had. That was 20 years ago. Hope things are well with you. Werner
Ida KEPNER Hi Vicki, Yes she finally came through find and I was able to link her as the other wife. Will do more tomorrow as it is getting late and Find A Grave is slowing the typing process down with throwing up many ads one after the other. Got to pay for our site, so will start fresh in the morning. Thanks again, Charolette
I just put up a picture of Marguerite taken with my Grandfather ca 1918. Still have to work through the photos and photo shop them for clarity. ~ But will continue to complete the updates and links first. I appreciate everything you have done. Think that smile in her picture could be for you :)
