RE: Harelson Cemetery Thanks for responding Mary. I was there recently and the Womack area looks good. That area is maintained by someone? I wish I could say the same for the Quine/Elliott section. The Brown headstones for the most part are also in the brush; not to mention many other markers. Thanks again.
I see that we both have relatives buried at Harelson Cemetery. Would you happen to know who mows the grass in some sections of this cemetery? My guess is that the city does not maintain this cemetery but perhaps some family members do? Thanks for any info that you might have.
Richard A Scarbrough Memorial# 14192618 - Are you related to him? I am trying to find a Richard Scarbrough, father of James D Scarbrough (Memorial# 26730787). James was married in 1874 in Newton county and his death certificate says his father's name was Richard. Any help would be appreciated. thanks, marie
RE: Fluvia Hunstock Kerr That's correct. The photo is of her resting place, but there is no marker. The marker to the left of her in the photo is James McGavin Nicol, perhaps a relative? The plot was purchased by the Nicol family.
