|I grew up in the Greater New York area. The majority of interments that I have done for Find a Grave are of children who have passed away young and whose memory, after the passing of as many as 10 years, seems to be forgotten. Some of these children I remember from the newspapers, who were memorialized in print but who today are largely forgotten. Four other children were family members of mine who, though they died of natural causes, likewise are scarcely remembered. But their stories have touched me and have stayed always in my heart. I hope that these memorials shall be a living tribute to all of them. These children deserve to be remembered and honored, to be given a sense of dignity and love in death that was so denied to them in life.|

I've run across a newspaper article about the burial of this baby girl. I can send it to you if you'd like. It describes how the Sterling, VA community came together and gave of their time and services to give this sweet baby a proper burial.

Franceen Meegan is buried in Prescot, Arizona. I am updating my pages dedicated to childeren who have died due to child abuse and twice today, I have come up on children that you have added.
Thank you for memorializing them, they deserve to be remembered and have their stories told. You can access Francine's story on my site, here:
There are news stories and it shows pictures of her funeral.

If you watch this video, it shows a picture of a confidential CPS document that lists Adam's birthday as February 20, 1985 and death as March 5, 1990
Have a great day and thank you for remembering Adam.

God bless you for creating the memorial for Billy Gaffney. He came to my attention quite by accident and hasn't left my thoughts since. I wanted somehow to express my grief and outrage and this is how I found Find A Grave. I am also a bereaved parent and this site has been a God send. If not for you I wouldn't have known Find A Grave existed and for this I deeply thank you. Gratefully Allison Ford

Hello. I thought you might like to know that little Roxanne has a great-niece, Roxanne Rose Felumero. My daughter and her husband, Anthony, named her for his aunt. This little Roxanne, however, has never known a day where she has not been surrounded by people who love her more than their own lives. Thank you for taking the time to memorialize this child whose life ended so terribly, and whose blood lives on in my beloved grandchild.

I added two photo's of this child, they are an artist drawing and a clay model on what she looked liked. I thought it would help to add to the memorial. Hope thats alright with you.
