A pamphlet prepared in approximately 1972-1974 with transcriptions of the tombstones in the Texas Cemetery was used. The pamphlet was prepared by E. Irene House, Gebolys, Past President and member of the Northwestern Ohio Genealogical Society.
I have found many errors while entering the transcriptions of the Texas Cemetery in Henry Co., OH. Many of these errors are due to the difficulty of transcribing from the very old tombstones and the inability to read them. Sometimes I have been able to fill in information gathered from other sources and then entered it in the bio of the memorial. There were many others that were buried in this cemetery, but many of the tombstones were broken and the necessary information was destroyed or eroded.
